Should oceans rise and mountains fall

Running on 3 hours sleep, waking up before the sun, just for these. My close and talented (hate to admit it but it's true) friend David somehow managed to convince me it was necessary to take pictures at sunrise, hence he picked me up at 5:30am this morning and we raced against the sun to reach our desired spot. Armed with a DSLR each (both his, I know, I'm jealous too) we went snapping away. These are just a few shots, the ones without me were most probably taken by me and the ones with me were obviously taken by him. It was freezing! But undoubtedly beautiful. Watching the dark sky lighten and break into shards of pinks, purples and a dozen shades of orange was unbelievably soothing.Would I do it again? Possibly but maybe sunset next time.Until next time!

Ps. How cool does the bokeh look in the first two photos!

I stand unashamed trusting in one name

Dress; DIY, Ring; Gloss, Bracelet; vintage, Bag; Vintage, Shoes; Senso c/o Dorothy

THE SERVICE WAS AMAZING! I wasn't able to sit with Krisha because getting seats were crazy. We were lucky to even sit inside because there were hundreds (no exaggeration) who stood outside in the rain to watch the service on the big screen because the stadium was overfilled! Reinhard Bonnke was the guest speaker (explains the massive turnout) and that man, is so amazing. He was so witty and humble (and he had such a cool accent), take a look here to see his inspiring crusade. I didn't wear this to the service because the weather wasn't great but this is something I made a few days ago. I wasn't planning on making anything in this colour but whilst at the fabric shops I managed to convince myself I should have something mustard in my wardrobe.Finished the dress in a day, it's not perfect but hey, I like it. It's so difficult taking pictures of myself, I resorted to asking my BROTHER to take some pictures for me (the outdoor ones) and he kept running inside the house as people came by because he was just topless in shorts. Yeah, my big brother's kinda cute like that! Until next time guys! God bless!

My exams have come and gone and my two week holidays are here. I'm not sure how I went but you know, what's done is done., not losing sleep over it. I have to admit though it's been an extremely difficult term, personally. The second half of the term, I can't even begin to explain the things I, felt. But I did feel them, and it hit home pretty hard and, eurgh let's not talk about this. In other news, I GOT MY BRACES OFF! Aw yeah, boys one at a time please! (Please don't judge me.) I've been keeping busy with some sewing to get my mind off some things, kind of like vent sewing so I've got a few pieces to blog about soon. But what's much, much more important, is that it is Easter tomorrow. I will be going to my second Church service ever with the lovely Krisha tomorrow, words can't explain how excited I am. I hope you all have an enjoyable Easter and keep in mind the real reason for Easter, beyond the chocolate eggs. Bless all.

'For God so loved the world that he gave his one only Son, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.' John 3:16

(Ps. I'm really sorry for the badly written post, I'm not particularly in the right frame of mind right now but I just really wanted to get this out of the way, sorry)
