SHE'S ALIVEEEEEEEE! Yes sir I am alive! I have one more assessment tomorrow and then I'll be done! Hillsong Conference will be occupying half of my two week holidays and I am so excited! It will be such an amazing God filled week! Only thing is I'm a little bit worried about going alone...hopefully I'll make some new friends quickly :S Had such a great day today! Lawrence came over in the morning so we could practice for our assessment then we were picked up and headed out to lunch with the Hungry Jacks crew (we head to Hungry Jacks for $2 whopper meals every Wednesday) and had some scrumptious $10 steak (value for money anyone?) and a game of pool. Was then driven home and Mel came over in the afternoon for some rollerblade lessons  and even more assessment practice! She had dinner with my family for the first time as well! Hehe! I got this oversized woollen jumper for $1! It's so warm and perfect for the weather! Until next time!

Here I lay in awe and wonder

Photographer: Danica P
Models: Kyleen, Carmen & I
Crew: Annie & Mariel

So I made a mental note to mention this but totally forgot! As a body of work, my ultra bad ass classmate Danica is going to be doing a series of photos themed around the Three Graces and Carmen, Kyleen and myself have been picked to be her subjects (because you know, natural beauty and all LOL JOKES, pretty sure she just has no one else :P ) But these are just some practice shots. I was literally sitting in a warm classroom during lunch when I got a call from Kyleen telling me to get my butt down to the art room where I was thrown a white sheet and told to 'make a one shouldered dress'. A few twists, tucks and staples later we headed off to the agriculture garden beds to take a few shots. I always have so much fun taking pictures for Danica, the randomest things just kinda happen! Anyway these are just a few shots, for Danica's selections check it out on her blog here. On another note, can I just take a minute to release my frustration, my body of work is really, just not working and I can't look at it right now without the urge to step on it and call it quits. Why won't you just come together like I imagined you would?!

I've been keeping my hopes, unbroken

 Vivid Sydney Lights Festival 2012

I can quite proudly admit that Sydney is definitely one of the most amazing city to live in. For those who don't live in Sydney, Vivid is an annual festival which features large scale light installations (projected on large buildings, the Opera House etc), interactive light sculptures and the likes. It was my first time visiting last night and it was beautiful! The atmosphere itself was amazing, there were literally hundreds of people walking around the harbour just having a good time (not to mention the hoards of ridiculously good looking tourists, you know, just saying!) And as an added bonus, I managed to take a quick stroll through the nearby markets before it closed for the night. Can't wait for next years installations, will definitely attend again (but maybe with friends next time...going with my mum wasn't a great idea :S ) AND ALSO! I finally got a new laptop! My old one was literally falling apart so mum got me a new one, my brother is even pitching in $100 for it! Hehe, I'm so blessed to have such an awesome family!

One day You'll make all things right

1. DIY room art, 2. First bowling trip for George's birthday, 3. Volunteering for the Door Knock Appeal, 4. Clement's awesome shoes, 5. Teddy bear shaped pasta, 6.Braids, 7.OOTD, 8.Chicken and Abalone flavoured instant noodles, 9. Bun Thang , 10. Cheese croissants in bed & 11. Art room/my bench

It's been quite a few 'first time ever' moments for me lately; first time bowling and laser tag-ing at George's birthday party, first time volunteering for the Salvation Army's Door Knock Appeal, (insert other first time ever moments that have slipped my mind, woops) But yeah it's been a crazy week. I'm still in the middle of assessments but my procrastination in studies leads to me being a productive blogger!  My plans fell through the other week so I have no exciting pictures (excuses getting boring, I know) but I'm hitting up the Career's Expo tomorrow so that should be good! To explain the first picture, Deuteronomy 31:8 is my favourite verse, so I thought I'd use it to brighten up my otherwise dreary room! AND I received my pass and stuff for Hillsong Conference in July! Super excited for it, it's bound to be an amazing week and I'm coming expectant! Last picture is my messy work bench in art! Things are starting to slowly take shape.

Ps. To that person, if you're reading this, which I'm sure you're probably not since, well since I don't see why you would bother, I hope all is going well. Just wanted to say that since I don't ever get the chance.
